Textiles Reuse Summit

‚ÄčAdvocacy to Action - Driving Behavior Change to Create a Culture of Reuse

Tuesday, June 21, 8:00 am - 12:00 noon

Distillery District's Archeo Room

Join us to discuss how we can prevent landfills from becoming laundry piles.

Thank you for your interest in attending our Toronto Reuse Summit at the Distillery District's Archeo Room! Value Village and the National Zero Waste Council are proud to convene this dialogue about opportunities for greater clothing and textile reuse.

The summit will feature speakers from the fashion industry, the National Zero Waste Council, the Recycling Council of Ontario and the Institute for a Resource Based Economy (IRBE), among others. Value Village will also present findings from their State of Reuse Report: a research study they fielded this year to learn more about the public perception of reuse, common misperceptions about the reuse cycle, and the environmental impact of clothing.

We look forward to seeing you to discuss what we can do collectively - through our business, political and organizational channels - to encourage people to Rethink Reuse.
